Green Tea relieves abdominal cramps:
When the time of the month has come, I have really bad problems with abdominal cramps and back ache. I’ve started drinking green tea infused with lemon, drinking one cup every morning and my cramps and pain have decreased significantly. There are no studies that have shown that green tea is great for abdominal cramps but I can tell you it is.
Recipes:
Green Tea with lemon:
It is known that lemon infused water is a very good wake up drink but also great for the body’s energy and fitness. I tried infusing green tea with lemon and the taste changes so much.
All you need to do is: brew some green tea and squeeze a little bit of lemon in it and drop the rest of the fruit in it. Let it infuse for ten minutes and drink it throughout the morning.
If you are not very used to the taste, start off with the lemon water in the morning and you will soon like the taste of green tea with lemon.
Green Tea with honey:
Everybody likes sweet honey, hence it is often used as a substiturw for sweetener or sugar.
Brew your green tea and add some honey to it. This way the drink will taste not so bitter and you will find yourself liking it.
These two methods are my favourite ways of drinking the hot beverage. This way I know that I can still gain from the benefits of the tea and feel so much better.
It’s okay if it takes some getting used to. Take your time and be patient, you will still gain from the benefits.
If you find some more ways of drinking the tea or a recipe you really like, comment or tell me about it.
